This year we have a host of exciting new additions to the hotel for you to enjoy whether you’re staying at 51 or just passing through.  

Here are some of the highlights for the next few months:  Following the indulgent festive period, we highly recommend warming up with a relaxing hot stone massage in the Spa at 51 or even an incredibly invigorating collagen facial using Osmium for men – the newest addition of men’s products in the spa as well as a variety of Anne Semonin massages and treatments that will leave you replenished and ready for London.  The fitness centre is also fully-equipped with personal trainers and exhilarating classes to help with that detox or just for a relaxing yoga session.  Whatever your needs for health and fitness, the Spa at 51 caters to all.

One of our special menus this year boasts a luscious Pink Afternoon Tea served in February which includes a Kir Royal, delicious raspberry macaroons and rose petal scones – perfect for a Valentines treat or just to spoil a loved one!  This delightful afternoon tea can be served in The Hamptons bar across the Courtyard at 51, in the Library or even in your suite to help make it that little bit more special.  To enhance the romance further, why not order a romantic bath for two complete with rose petals and candles, drawn specially by your butler for a truly warming stay?  For further information, please see Special Offers section of the blog.

On 1st February, in our Michelin star restaurant Quilon, we will be hosting a rare and intimate dinner for fans of fine spirits and gourmets alike. It will be hosted by whisky expert and acclaimed author Dominic Roskrow. Bookings are just £59.50 per person comprising a whisky celebration cocktail, tutored tasting of four super-premium whiskies including a whisky rarity, three-course dinner and service. Just 16 guests will be hosted on a single table on this convivial night, when whisky expert Dominic Roskrow promises to entertain and educate guests with ‘no weary whisky words’. Chef Sriram Aylur’s special menu will be a tantalizing introduction to Quilon’s progressive, delicate south-west coastal Indian cuisine. Dominic is known for his lively, anecdotal approach to enjoying whiskies and will select four whiskies to serve on the night. The choice is difficult, as there are some 750 whiskies featured in his new glossy book The World’s Best Whiskies. Diners on the night can also enjoy £10 off the cover price of the book.
